日米のメディアで報道された、2024年10月にカリフォルニア州マンザナールの日系人強制収容所跡地に野球場を復元し、そこでゆかりのある日系人たちが野球の試合をするというプロジェクト（‟The Manzanar Baseball Project”）について、その中心人物であるDan Kwong（ダン・クワン）氏にお話しいただき、大谷翔平選手のメジャーリーグでの活躍で再注目されている、野球と日系人／日本人の間のトランボーダーな関係についても考えてみたい。
